Glen Westover
March 11, 1947 - May 11, 2011
Glen Westover passed away peacefully at home with his loving family at his side on May 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years Dale, daughters Dawne (Clint), Rhonda (Steve) and Candace, grandchildren Alysha, Cody, Cory, Milan, Kyle, Danielle and Colton, brother Charles (Chuck) Westover, and sisters Beverly (Dickie) Cairns and Lois (Penny) Porter.
The family wishes to thank the amazing nurses at Campbell River Home Care, Dr. Prinsloo, Dr. Friderichs and Dr. Latham for their support with Glen’s care so he was able to stay at home with his family.
At Glen’s request there will be no service, however a Celebration of Life Open House will be held on 4th June 2011 at 451 Goodwin Rd in Campbell River from 2pm-6pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Campbell River Salvation Army Adopt a Family program, Glen’s favourite charity, in his memory.
