It is with profound sadness that we announce that Gerald Dalton Gavel, born on June 7, 1926 in Willow Bunch, SK, passed away on January 29, 2007 in Campbell River, B.C. Dad will be deeply missed by his family and those who knew him best. Known as “The Shoe Repair Man” Gerald may have set aside his tools, but we know dad has moved on to his “ultimate” camping trip. At his request there will be no formal service. Those wishing to make a donation in his memory may do so through the charity of their choice.
