BLESSINGS TO A BEAUTIFUL SOUL GONE HOME

Georgia Virginia Jackson, Nepraunig, Stevenson (Nee DeBolt)

Born June 5, 1931 in DeBolt, Alberta. Passed away peacefully on March 30, 2018 in Campbell River, BC at the age of 86.

Georgia is survived by her loving husband Frank Stevenson her former husband and father of her four children Eduard Nepraunig Sr., her sons Eduard Nepraunig Jr. (Lily), Daniel Nepraunig (Linda) and daughter Karla Wade-Nepraunig her grandchildren Jaymes Nepraunig and Stevie-Jaye Alder.

Georgia is predeceased by her first husband James Jackson Sr. her eldest son James Jackson Nepraunig Jr. and her Grandaughter Crystal Lee Wade.EGeorgia, youngest child of Henry and Laura DeBolt, spent her younger years in Alberta. She was one of the first women to work for Shell Oil in Whitehorse as a

switchboard operator. She married James (Jim) Jackson in 1952 who was sadly taken by the Polio virus, however, she was blessed with the birth of his son James Jackson, shortly after her husbands death.

A widowed young mother met Austrian Immigrant, Eduard Nepraunig and they were married in 1957, it was then she left Alberta and stepped off the plane in Holberg on Vancouver Island. For 35 years she devoted her life to her husband Ed and her four children. Devastating losses of her first grandchild, Crystal Lee and her eldest son Jay did not dismay her faith in God and her amazing strength.

In 1998 she married Frank Stevenson, who's parent's settled at the same time as Georgia's, in DeBolt, Alberta. After spending almost 40 years on Vancouver Island, Georgia moved home again to DeBolt and while she spent the next 12 years rekindling old relationships with family and friends, her heart ached for her children and for the Island life that she grew to know and love so much. It was then that her wonderful husband Frank, who spent his whole life in DeBolt said let's pack up and move so you can be with your children.

For the past twelve years Georgia and Frank have lived in Campbell River and devoted their lives to family, friends, community and God. Georgia leaves behind so many wonderful friends...all over the world. She always said "I have friends from ages 2-92" and she truly did...you all know who you are... adopted kids and grandkids...way too many to name...she loved you all.
