It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of George. George has finished his journey here on earth to start a whole new journey.
He leaves his wife Rita, of 64 years, 4 sons: Ted, Glen, Jim and David, one daughter Kathy, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
George had been at Evergreen Seniors Home for the past 38 weeks. A heartfelt “Thank You” goes out to the wonderful caregivers at the Home and also to Dr. Prinsloo.
A Celebration Luncheon was held for George on Oct. 28, 2016
at the Komoks 1st Nations Band Hall with the ladies of the Wachiay Friendship Centre doing the catering.
