Gary Wayne Edberg, born on March 28, 1952 in Duncan, BC, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2007 in Campbell River, BC at the age of 54 years. Gary is survived by his loving family: his partner, Bernadette Flemming; children, Nichol Edberg (Brent Morgan) and Chad Edberg; grandchildren, Kaylee, Tailor and Kennedy; sister, Sharon Creelman; brother-in-law Mike Creelman; cousins, Linda Uren and Gunnar (Maureen) Edberg; uncle, Ray Edberg and many, many good friends. Heartfelt thanks to all that supported Gary through his hard times, especially to Bernadette for just being there. Gary was pre-deceased by his wife Sandi in 2000; his parents, Ed and Pearl Edberg and his grandparents Elsie and Eric Freid.
Gary devoted his life to his work as a driller blaster and construction worker. Private family services and cremation have been arranged. If friends so desire, a donation may be made in memory of Gary to a charity of your own choice.
