Gary Arthur Whetter, age 76, resident of Tahsis BC, passed away on November 26, 2015 in Campbell River BC, due to natural causes. Gary was born on June 10, 1939 in Dauphin MB, to Perry and Dorothy Whetter and had three siblings: Diane Breu, Wendy Petersen and Ryan Whetter, along with several nieces and nephews. On July 3, 1970, Gary married Tina in Fort McMurray AB. Gary’s name lives on through his wife Tina Whetter, his children Kelly Whetter, Darcy Whetter, Diane Whetter and stepson Kevin Ross; and Gary’s two grandchildren Gabriel Nikov and Garrett Whetter. Gary will be remembered for his involvement with the Armed Forces, the Masons, the Shriners, Rotary and Kiwanis. Gary was loved for his quick wit, his calm demeanor and his knowledge of the world. He will be sadly missed.
