July 13, 1938 - April 28, 2024

In loving memory ~

Gail Elaine Lindstrom (Walsh) left this world on April 28, 2024 after a battle with pneumonia at the Campbell River Regional Hospital.

Gail was born on July 13, 1938 in Dawson Creek, B.C. to her parents Owen Walsh and Henrietta (Nettie) Haddow.

Gail married Franklin Elwood Lindstrom on November 29, 1955 in Dawson Creek, B.C.

Gail and Frank went on to have two children, Franklin Owen and Brenda Sherie.

Gail and Frank settled down in Campbell River, B.C. May 1969, where they bought their first house.

Gail worked at Preston's Department Store followed by The Dog House Store.

She was a friendly, loving person and always had a smile for everybody. She was well liked and recognized by our community.

Gail and Frank raised their two children along with four foster children.

They always had an open door, an extra place at the table, and a place to sleep for family and friends if needed.

Gail is survived by her husband Frank of 68 years, her son Frank (Debbie) and her daughter Sherie (Keith)

Grandchildren: Scott (Liana), Dean (Shelly), Brenda (Murray); Andrew, Jordanne (Calvin)

Great Grandchildren: CeeKay, Kalem, Keaton, Carter; Sadie, Eva; Natalie, Emma, Katarina and her namesake Abigail.

Gail's heart was so full of love for her dear friends and family, especially her grandkids and great grandkids!

Gail started each day checking in with ALL her family and friends by telephone, email, and messenger on facebook.

She always made an effort to connect with each and every person and let them know how important everyone was to her.

She loved hanging out with all of her dear friends and THE B C A 's. She looked forward to any opportunity to have a get together, especially if it was around a campfire.

One of her favourite things to do was make Bread and Buns for one and all! She also loved her flowers.

BUT in lieu of flowers...we think she would love it if you reached out to someone and said HELLO. Let them know they are important in your life!

And always remember Gail with a smile on her face:

" IT'S 10 to 4 AND TIME TO POUR!!"
