It is with an extremely heavy heart that I announce the passing of Freda Eastick. Freda’s courage and strength was an inspiration to all as she fought a long and very heroic battle with two different cancers. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jeff, friends and family members. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, 06 July 2007 at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood St., Campbell River, BC. It was Freda’s wish to be cremated and to have her ashes scattered on the waters of her new home that she came to love so much on Vancouver Island. She will be truly missed by all. Her sincere beautiful smile will live on forever. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, a friend is setting up a fund to purchase a park bench in memory of Freda, along a scenic boardwalk, overlooking her favourite view of the ocean and mountains, please contact,
