Born in Bautzen, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1960.
He had the good fortune to make a forty year career in the logging industry. He enjoyed every moment of it and had a special appreciation for his long standing crew.
He is survived by his wife Janet; daughter Jennifer (Axel) and grandsons Heydon and Cooper; relatives and friends residing in Germany.
Special acknowledgement to Dr. S. Le Beuf for many years of care and Dr. Farias for the short term.
No service by request and in lieu of flowers take a walk in the woods.
