Frank Berenyi passed away peacefully with love and support from his family and close friends on Monday, July 4, 2011 at the age of 73 years in The Campbell River Hospital. Frank was born on April 27th, 1938 in Szeged, Hungary and immigrated to Canada in 1956.
Frank was a dedicated and driven man who devoted most of his years to his mining career and to his family who he cherished and cared for more than anything. Frank lived a life full of accomplishments, love, laughter, and joy. He can be remembered most for his great sense of humour, which never faded, and also for his passion for life, family, friends, cooking, and nature (in particular hunting, fishing and his garden.)
Frank has touched many lives with his everlasting kindness, wealth of knowledge, and inspirational wisdom. He will be greatly missed, but forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Thank you to of the doctors and nurses for their excellent care, love and support, especially Dr. Coetzee and Dr. Attwell.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends at Frank’s home on Sunday July 17, 2001 from 1:00 to 3:00. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
