It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Dorothy Syvertsen on December 13, 2023 at 90 years of age. Eva was born August 16, 1933 in Duchess, Alberta to Efrem and Bertha Radke. She grew up on a farm with 11 brothers and sisters.
Eva moved to Campbell River in 1997 to be closer to her family. She loved to spend her days gardening and visiting with family and friends. She was an active member in our community, volunteering at the Campbell River Hospital, Seniors Centre and the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Store.
She is survived and very much missed by her daughter Roxann (Lloyd); son Donald (Donna); sisters Clara and Marg; grandchildren Chris (Amanda), Christina (Dennis), Katrina, Dan (Kimberly), Emma, Sara (Eric) and Amy (Tristan); many great grandchildren including Ian, Montana, Connor, Mariah, Emory, and Rylan, as well as great-great grandchildren Montana and Avery. Eva was predeceased by oldest son Derald.
On March 23, 2024 at 11:30 AM we will have an Inurnment at Elk Falls Cemetery (Niche), followed by a Celebration of Life and a Luncheon at the home of Roxann and Lloyd Huber from 12:30 PM to 4 PM.
