Doreen Susannah
Doreen Susannah Setchell passed away at Campbell River Hospital on Monday, May 31st, 2004. She was predeceased by her mother and father; William and Susannah Clarke and a good friend; Peg. Doreen will be sadly missed by her daughters; Carol (Michael) Toms of Campbell River and Diane (Graham) Whiting of England, grandchildren; Jeremy and Samantha and Jamie and Elliot, brothers; Tom (Jill), Charles (Vera), Bill (Pat), David (Heather), Geoff (Linda) and Phillip (Trish) all of England, sister; Joyce (John) of England, many many nieces and nephews, friend of 19 years; Evelyn Toms of Campbell River and extended family; Nancy and Malcolm McDonald of Quadra Island.
Doreen was born in King’s Lynn, England in 1927, moved to Banff, Alberta March of 1985 and then to Vancouver Island to be with her "Canadian" family. Special thanks to Dr. Friderichs, the third floor nursing staff at Campbell River Hospital and the home support team. A Memorial service will be held in England at a later date.
