Doreen Janet
Born in Kamloops November 8, 1930 - Died April 12, 2004 in Nanaimo General Hospital. Predeceased by husband of 47 years, John, on April 10, 1994 and her parents Bob and Leila Sivertson. She is survived by 4 daughters: Sharen (Andy) Kish of Beaumont, Alberta, Joyce Zavarise of Nanaimo, Maureen (Dave) of Kamloops and Leann (Byron) of Campbell River; twin sister Dorthea (Tom) Harris and brother Bob (Vera), 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her happiest days were spent in Ocean Falls before moving to Prince George, Kamloops, Prince Rupert, Sechelt, Powell River, Campbell River and finally Nanaimo in 2002. Doreen enjoyed knitting, embroidery, gardening and her beloved poodles. Doreen will be greatly missed by family and many friends. No service by request.
