Don lost his battle with cancer at home on October 2nd, 2004.
Predeceased by his parents, he leaves to mourn, his son, Joe (Donna) and two granddaughters; also his loving companion, Monique Montpetit and his two furry caregivers, Buster and Billy, as well as many friends.
Don was born in Eden, Ontario, October 8th, 1943. Don arrived in BC in the 70’s and chose to make Campbell River his home. He was a welder and logging truck driver by trade and worked for many logging companies along the coast.
He was a gifted man with many hobbies, such as building camp stoves, playing guitar and fishing.
He was a gentle and generous man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation and no service at Don’s request.
