Don passed away after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers. He leaves behind his loving wife, Dorothy of 59 years, two sons: Bruce (Karin) and Donald Jr. (Barbara); grandchildren, Katrina, Bradley (Terrah), Misty (James) and Darren; great-grandchildren, Jace, Natalie, Aiden and Jayda. Don’s last trip took him to Glacier View Lodge in Comox, where he was shown the utmost care and compassion.

Don was a logger where he spent many years in and around Campbell River and up and down the B.C. coast. In his later years he was employed in heavy construction.
