July 18, 1954 - March 14, 2019
Deborah was born in Margate, Kent, England on July 18, 1954 and passed away on March 14, 2019 after 47 years of marriage and a courageous 7 year battle with brain cancer.

She moved to the United States as a teenager and met her future husband, Eric, at the age of 17. They were married 4 months later on December 17, 1971. Following a move to Eric's home town of North Vancouver, their daughter, Erica, was born.

They soon relocated to Port Hardy and welcomed their son, Joshua. After raising their children, Deborah enrolled in the University of Victoria Distance Education Program and completed her Bachelor of Social Work degree with Distinction before moving to Campbell River. As a social worker she devoted her career to helping children. Deborah's positive attitude toward life and her infectious smile impacted everyone she met. Deborah loved crafting and scrapbooking, and devoted much of her spare time to painting.

Deborah was predeceased by her parents, Kathleen and William Howe, and one sibling. She is survived by her husband, Eric Weber, children, Erica Nerling (Randy) and Josh von Weber (Sara), grandchildren, Connor, Amelia, and Austin Nerling, and her seven siblings.

A service to celebrate Deborah's life will be hosted by the Vineyard Christian Fellowship at 2215 Campbell River Road in Campbell River on April 6, 2019 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, food or cash donations can be made to the Vineyard Food Bank.
