DANIEL A. LENGERT

December 22, 2006

LENGERT,

Daniel A.

Nov. 21, 1941 ~ Dec. 22, 2006

After a courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by his family, Dan left us to go on his last fishing trip to heaven.

Dan worked at the Pulp mill for 30 years and retired 7 years ago, to enjoy his life’s passions. He fulfilled his dreams by racing a bomber car, travelling to Alaska, gold panning in Dawson City, and fishing all over BC.

Dan will be sorrowfully missed by Chris, his loving wife of 31 years, his children; Tracy (Gord); Troy (Sue); Tara (Rich); Lisa (Sandy); Angela (Gary) and Tamara (James); Grandchildren: Trevor, Tyler, Teri, Jackie, Jenna, Sierra, George, Jacob, Dylan, Shay-Anne, Kathleen and Emily; Brothers: Gene (Lauraine); Ken (Shirley); Gerald (Sandy); James (Debbie) and sister Doreen (Ken), numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents Hilda and Arthur and son-in-law, Kelly Sparling.

Our special thanks to Dr. Jacobs and the Telementry nurses for their extraordinary care.

A Service will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street, Campbell River on January 6, 2007 at 1:00p.m. A tea will follow at the Elks Hall next door.

You taught all of us invaluable lessons and have left a Legacy of Love.

You are forever in our hearts.
