Cyril (Cy) Walter

April 1, 1915 ~ April 4, 2004.
After a wonderful fun-filled life, Cy died peacefully in his sleep with Wendy at his side. He was predeceased by his wife, Lucy, in 1987 and is survived by his daughter Wendy Norton, sister Betty (bob) Walker, grandsons David (Lynn) Norton and Larry (Bobbie) Norton and three great grandchildren. Cy was very involved in community services and in later years delivered Meals on Wheels, canvassed for the Canadian Society until 2003 and received the Governor General’s Caring Canadian Award for community services. Funeral services to be held Thursday, April 8, 2004 at 1:30 pm at St. Peter’s Anglican Church with tea to follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
