January 21, 1943- April 15, 2013
Carolynn (Lynn) Schmitt, age 70, passed away peacefully April 15, 2013 to join Karl who left her widowed 3 years ago.
Lynn was born in Barrie Ontario January 21, 1943 to Charlie and Roma Dupuis. Strong family ties aided her as she raised her three children that were her pride and joy. With wonderment, Lynn appreciated art and beauty in her surroundings. She was an attractive woman, quick to laugh, and had a great sense of humour. In the mid 80’s, Lynn moved to Campbell River and found her calling in esthetics and during her career touched many hearts ...... and feet. She met people easily and cultivated good friendships including treasured sister-friends Noliene Engh, Caroline Vickers and Gayle Paquet.
Lynn is survived by her children and step children, Todd, Trent, Lisa, Brenda, Tony, Loretta, Rose, Joe, Cindy, Darrell, and their families. She also leaves behind her sister Brenda and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Walker and incredible nurses Omar and Paul for their wonderful care.
A celebration of Lynn's life will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Campbell River Community Centre - 401 11th Ave., Campbell River. Please join us.
