It is with great sorrow the family of Astrid Skjeie announce her passing.
Astrid was born on Feb. 23, 1925 in Krisitansand, Norway and passed away at the Campbell River Hospital on May 5, 2006.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Gunnar and two daughters, Anne (Alan) Nunn, and Karin Skjeie; her grandchildren; Adam Nunn & partner Chelsey, Arlo (Tia) Nunn, Jason, Jeff, and Katie Trenholm. She also leaves behind one sister in Norway, Sussi Larsen.
Astrid immigrated to Canada in 1952 and returned to Norway for visits several times. Her greatest joy were her grandhcildren.
Funeral Services will be held on May 11, 2006, 10:a.m. at Suttons Funeral Chapel, 502 S. Dogwood Street, Campbell River.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
