has passed away in Vancouver General Hospital. He has departed for a more peaceful place. Arden arrived in Campbell River via Edmonton and Prince George and fell in love with his garden and community here. Arden is survived by his sisters; Katherine Wilkes and Maureen Burton, nieces and nephews; Tyler, Kelsey, Nadine and Danya as well as his father Roy Hanson.
He departs this world having had fond friendships with fellow volunteers, workers, and friends at Vancouver Island Aids Society and many others in his community of friends and neighbours. In addition, Arden had a genuine fondness for many of Campbell Rivers’ excellent health care workers. He had struggled with health issues most of his life and cultivated hope in his last few years. He had some wonderful opportunities and acted upon them graciously in his final years.
Join him in spirit September 7, 2004, Tuesday at 12 noon at Salvation Army Ocean Crest Church. In lieu of flowers donations of love, tolerance and kindness are greatly appreciated and accepted almost everywhere.
