1935-2021 ~ Annette passed away Feb. 10, 2021 leaving behind her husband of 32 years; daughter Kim Diane Kerslake-Embley of Coquitlam; and son and daughter-in-law Bradley Wayne and Janis Kerslake of Calgary. Grandchildren; Berry (Kristen) Embley, Trevor (Stephanie) Embley; and Jillian, Paul and Matthew Kerslake. And great grandchildren Elizabeth and Cooper Embley.
Annette was born to John and Hanna Thompson in Vancouver, BC. She attended Crofton house for girls from Grade 2 - 12. Then attended Duffus Business College and worked for Canada Trust.
She married Barry Kerslake who passed away tragically in 1974. She then married Archie Beckett in 1988 and moved to Campbell River. She and Archie cruised the Caribbean and went to Palm Springs and lately traveled to the West Coast to Tofino on many wonderful holidays.
She was a magnet for people and her laughter and smile lit up many gatherings. She loved to entertain and was a wonderful hostess. Her food was always great.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
There will be no service held at this time and donations can be made to the Campbell River Hospital.
