Anna passed away at Campbell River Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family and friends who loved her.

Anna was born in London, Ontario in 1938. She was married to her devoted husband Len Houser May 11, 1956. Anna started with Northwest Tel in Prince George in 1955. She transferred to BC Tel in Campbell River, where she worked until retirement in 1995. She was a proud member of the Telephone Pioneers. Anna was predeceased by father Knud Jeppesen, mother Elsie Jeppesen, and loving stepmother Dorothy Jeppesen, who passed away January 4, 2006. Anna is survived by husband Len Houser, sons Gary, Darcey, Shane and daughter Sherry. She is predeceased by brother Paul and survived by brothers Ken, Bob and Pat. Anna was the proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Anna will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Special thanks to sisters-in law Sally and Debbie, and daughter-in-law Mary for their compassion and help.

The family would also like to thank Dr. Ramsey and the nurses at Campbell River Hospital, and all of the Home Health Care nurses who made Anna as comfortable as possible during her lengthy illness.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 25/06 at the Oyster Bay Resort, 4357 South Island Highway, Campbell River.
