MacNaught,

Allan Richard (Dick)

June 18, 1921 ~ July 24, 2003

Born in Glen Ewen, Saskatchewan.

Beloved husband, father and brother, he is survived by his wife, Isobelle (Turton) MacNaught, married February 18, 1948; his children darlene (Lloyd), Dennis (Sherre), Terre (Doug), Sharon, Vicki, and Karol; his grandchildren, Justin (Tanya), Kyla (Tylan), Carly (Terre), Michael (Alberta), Nicole (Shay), Jewel, Ross, Philip, Rachel, and Shasta; his great-grandchildren, Shayna Kody, Austin, Harper, Zackery, Dakota and Alexandra; and his surviving siblings, Jim (Joyce), Jean, and Maureen.

Dick lived a remarkable life. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII, and survived the P.O.W. camps in Germany. Dick worked as an engineer in Campbell River; he and his wife Isobelle owned and operated Aire Kool Refrigeration. They enjoyed golfing year-round. He was a pillar within the A.A. community, a member for 40 years, and had many friends who looked to him for leadership, strength, and support.

He will be missed.

His ashes will be laid to rest in carnduff, Saskatchewan, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society.
