1948 - 2015
Alina passed away peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2015 in the Campbell River Hospital with her loving husband, Zdzislaw “Jack”, by her side. Dear mother of Lydia (Jim Kabotoff) of Castlegar BC, and Rychard (Alicia) of Edmonton AB; and grandmother of Dayon Hutchon-Tyminski and Avery Tyminski. She is predeceased by her parents Jozef and Irena Adamczewski. Alina will also be sadly missed by her three brothers Jan Adamczewski and Chris Adamczewski of Montreal QC, Mirek Adamczewski of Courtenay BC, as well as her family in Poland.
Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Thursday May 21, 2015 from 6-8 pm in the Chapel of Sutton’s Campbell River Funeral Home, 502 S. Dogwood Street, Campbell River BC with The Rosary being said at 730 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11 am in Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 34 S. Alder Street Campbell River BC followed by interment in the Courtenay Civic Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Proctor and the nurses from the 3rd floor for taking care of Alina over the last 2 months. Also, thank you to our neighbours and friends Al and Martina Hilbretch for their caring support.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of B.C., 300-828 W. 8th Avenue Vancouver, B.C. V5Z 1E2 would be appreciated by the family.
