January 14, 1961 - June 21, 2016
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2016 at Campbell River Hospital at the age of 55 years. He was predeceased by his brothers Sly, Glen and Randy. He is survived and will be greatly missed by his parents John and Magnell Usipuik, brothers Nester and Rodney, his 5 children; daughters, Amanda, Alana, Melisa and Amelia and son John; four granddaughters Danica, Kaitlyn, Isabella and Sophia, one grandson Carson, sister-in-law Cindy; three nieces Sherry, Lisa and Yvonne; two nephews Dion and Carmen.
If a measure of a person is the depth of love left behind and the thousands of small kindnesses and laughter remembered, with a tear and a smile, then Alan Usipuik was a great man.
The family would very much like to thank neighbours that assisted, to the doctors and nursing staff in ICU. Special thanks to Father Jan Grotkowski, St. Patrick’s Parish, the Venerable Blair Haggart, St. Peter’s Anglican and Howard McCluskey and Sean Simpson at Island Funeral Services.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 7th, 2016 at 11:00 AM, St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 43 South Alder St, Campbell River.
