May 7, 1951 - August 1, 2021
Adam Stanley Fel, 70, of Campbell River, BC, passed away on August 1, 2021 at the Nanaimo General Hospital, after a courageous fight with cancer.
Adam was born May 7, 1951 to Kazimierz and Kristina Fel in France, fleeing from the Germans during WW2. Settling and growing up in Canada, he left high school early and worked within the mining industry until retirement.
Throughout his life, he took comfort in reading, gardening, scratching lotto tickets, cheering on the Toronto Blue Jays, and drinking tea with a muffin as his regular snack. Adam had a quiet presence in his later years, simply enjoying his family, puttering and terrible TV shows.
Adam was a devoted father and papa. Survived by his son Dan Fel and his wife Alyson Fel, and grandchild Abigayle.
The family will not be holding a service, as Adam never wanted to be the centre of attention, but ask anyone who would like to remember him to have a "toast" of tea with a kind thought, in his memory.
