A two-vehicle incident at Willis Road and Inland Island Highway Sunday morning just before 9 a.m. saw one vehicle end up in the ditch and the other flipped on its side.
Two people were taken to hospital with what are believed to have been serious injuries, but no update has been made on their condition. The highway was closed for several hours while an investigation took place, the results of which have also not been released. The highway reopened shortly before 1 p.m.
