Campbell River held a strong show of support for veterans on Remembrance Day.

With only a slight rain at times but otherwise comfortable conditions, a large crowd showed up for Remembrance Day services today. A parade to the downtown cenotaph included veterans, military representatives, the RCMP, cadets and other youth groups.

As is traditional on Remembrance Day, the laying of wreaths was led by Isabel Warner on behalf of Motherhood of Canada, followed by representatives of the federal, provincial and municipal governments as well as veterans and military organizations.
