The final total is just about complete and this year’s Relay For Life raised more than $57,000.
The total of $30,000, reported in Wednesday’s paper, was taken from the Relay’s Campbell River website and had not been updated following the weekend event at the Phoenix School field.
However, relay organizer Patti Mertz happily reported that a lot of money came in on Saturday and she gave her thanks to everyone who supported the annual fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society.
