The Campbell River Mirror has a new circulation manager.

Kevin McKinnon is an award-winning photographer and writer who has worked at newspapers on Vancouver Island and in the Lower Mainland since 1995 and holds a Diploma of Professional Photography from the Western Academy of Photography in Victoria.

Travel has given him an appreciation of the west- Coast lifestyle and no matter where he has worked, he has always considered the Island his home.

So far McKinnonn has travelled to the U.S., the United Kingdom, Italy, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina where he photographed the Canadian Forces peacekeeping mission.

McKinnon has shared his enjoyment of photography with his daughter Selah and loves spending time with her capturing the beauty the Island has to offer.

Relocating to Campbell River has offered him the opportunity to blend  his family with that of his partner Jodi and her daughter Brianna.

McKinnon understands not only the unique challenges of newspaper circulation management but also has experience as an entrepreneur which taught him organization and the value of hardworking staff.

Having grown up in the Comox Valley, McKinnon is eager to become more acquainted with the Campbell River community and to start in his exciting new adventure as circulation manager for the Campbell River Mirror.
