Campbell River RCMP want the public’s help in finding a stolen fishing boat.

Police want the public’s help in finding a stolen fishing boat.

The boat was taken from a residence in the 200 block of S. Alder St., and reported stolen on July 25.

The boat is as a 1991,  19-foot Bayliner Trophy.

“Fish Inn Charters” is written on the side with blue paint. The boat has a 120 horsepower Force outboard engine and is on an EZ Loader Trailer bearing BC licence plate 650 768.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Last week Campbell River RCMP responded to 325 calls for service.

There were 20 reported persons offences and 37 property related offences.

Police arrested five impaired drivers, issued one Immediate Roadside Prohibition and issued three 24-hour roadside suspensions.

Mounties also responded to three motor vehicle collisions that resulted in minor injury or property damage.

Finally, police dealt with 28 incidents of people intoxicated in public or causing a disturbance by being drunk.
