The Campbell River Mirror has been nominated for three 2016 Ma Murray Awards, including being named a finalist in Newspaper Excellence.
The Ma Murray Awards are named after B.C. newspaper icon Margaret “Ma” Murray and celebrate the best in B.C. and Yukon newspapers in a number of editorial, advertising and community service categories.
In addition to the Newspaper Excellence in its circulation class (with co finalists Yukon News and Peninsula News-Review), the Mirror has been named a finalist in the categories of Best Classifieds and Best Special Section (for our Remembrance Day section).
The final placements will be announced at the awards gala in Richmond on Saturday, May 7 at the River Rock Casino.
