Female B&E suspect sought in Campbell River

A home owner had gone out earlier in the morning and returned around 8:45 a.m. to find his kitchen window smashed

Police are looking for a woman possibly connected with a home break-in on May 29.

According to RCMP, a home owner in the 400 block of Dogwood Street had gone out earlier in the morning and returned around 8:45 a.m. to find his kitchen window smashed and a television pulled from the wall. Jewelry was also missing.

Police say an audible alarm may have scared away the culprit(s). A Caucasian female, with light-coloured hair in braids and dressed all in black was seen fleeing in the back alley in a white pickup truck, possibly a Ford.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
