More perfect conditions for the official opening of the Elk Falls Suspension Bridge would have been impossible to find.
Sunny skies, warm temperatures and broad smiles greeted today's official ribbon cutting ceremony by B.C. Environment Minister Mary Polak, BC Hydro CEO Jessica McDonald and Rotarians who created the project.
The half million dollar project will be opened to the public tomorrow during a ceremony that also marks the 75th anniversary of Elk Falls Provincial Park where the spectacular bridge overlooks the falls and canyon of the park's namesake.
