Campbell River RCMP have released the names of two homeless men who died Jan. 22 but autopsies failed to determine the causes of death.

"Autopsy's have been completed on both individuals with no conclusive cause being determined," RCMP Sgt. Craig Massey said.

It was around 2 a.m. Jan. 22 when pedestrians found a 57-year-old man dead in the wooded area between Nunns Creek Park and Campbell River Common mall. Then at 2 p.m., people out for a walk in the wooded area in the 100 block of Dogwood Street found a deceased 67-year-old man. Massey confirmed that both men were homeless and appeared to be living in the areas where they were found.

Further Toxicology results are expected in the coming weeks, Massey said.

The deceased located in Nunn's Park has been identified as 67-year-old Arthur Wright.  The deceased located off of Dogwood Street has been identified as 57-year-old Wayne Burnett.
