Keep calm and latch on

What do breastfeeding and books have in common?

Vancouver Island’s largest public breastfeeding challenge set for Saturday, Oct. 3

What do breastfeeding and books have in common?

Both nourish a child’s mind and play an important role in their growth and development.  On Saturday, Island Health will host nine simultaneously timed public breastfeeding events across Vancouver Island during the Quintessence Breastfeeding Challenge. Events will feature story time, giveaways and a public breastfeeding latch-on.

Each event will begin with story time at 10:30 a.m., followed by a latch on at 11 a.m.

Join Campbell River moms and babies on Saturday, Oct. 3 at the Campbell River Health Unit, 200-1100 Island Highway (Tyee Plaza Upstairs).
