Cortes Community Radio has suspended transmission at 89.5 FM to comply with Industry Canada regulations regarding testing of broadcast facilities. It is expected that the station will be off the air for a period of about three weeks followed by on air testing which may not consist of our regular programming. The board, management and staff are working to have some level of programming continue via the live internet streaming link at cortesisland.com during this testing phase.
Cortes Community Radio has been working for over two years to obtain a licence from the CRTC.
