This year it's on from August 6-8 and will feature several world championship and Canadian championship events. There will also be daily and evening entertainment on stage. For kids, $5 lets them play all day in the Bounce-A-Rama, climbing wall and train ride, as well as enjoy face-painting and a puppet show put on by the museum.

In conjunction, the Summer Salmon Sizzler runs parallel to logger sports, featuring a salmon-cooking competition for professional and amateur entrants. Throughout the event there will be guest speakers, cultural cooking demonstrations, native dancing and trade show booths for businesses and non-profit organizations.

On opening night (Friday, August 6) there will be an oyster-tasting and beer-sampling reception. Tickets will be available at the Visitor Information Centre.
