Guests will enjoy a traditional afternoon tea of freshly baked scones with fresh cream and jam and other tea-time treats, and experience a taste of the Emerald Isle. The music and dance of Ireland will complete an afternoon of authentic Irish entertainment. The high-stepping dancers of The Tara School of Irish dancing will entertain with their precision and skill and joy of the dance. There will be two seatings for tea: 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and tickets are available from: Samson’s Janitorial World, Phone: 250-830-1190.

March is always a busy month for members of the Tara School of Irish Dancing, performing at seniors homes and other community St. Patrick’s celebrations. St. Patrick’s Day will be busy this year with two afternoon teas and a performance at the St. Patrick’s Parish Dinner & Dance in the evening. This annual dinner and dance features a traditional Irish dinner catered by the Royal Coachman, a presentation by the dancers and dancing to the music of The Four Amigos. Tickets are $30 per person and available from Lorraine Flynn 250-287-3418.
