Calling all Campbell River Talent! It’s time to take a look at the amazing talent that lives in Campbell River!
The Campbell River Arts Council, in partnership with theatrical wizard Heather Gordon Murphy, is putting an open call out to the community to ‘Show Us Your Talent!’
As part of the Mapping Culture Project (www.crmappingculture.wordpress.ca), the Arts Council is organizing a Campbell River Talent Search. Singers, dancers, performers, comedians, dog tricks… whatever! Show Us Your Talent! All performances must have some connection to Campbell River and area in its content. All ages are welcome to participate. The aim is to generate a pool of talent and resources for consideration in building a Summer Historic Theatre Program for Campbell River. Application forms are at www.crarts.ca or email admin@crarts.ca for a copy. Selected applications will be showcased on April 26, at 7 p.m., at the Lions Hall in Willow Point. Applications will be accepted until 4 p.m. on April 17.
