Love a good mystery? Want to be in one?

If so, plan to attend auditions for Rivercity Players upcoming production of Murder on the Orient Express, by Agatha Christie and adapted by Ken Ludwig.

The action takes place on the Orient Express, where a snowstorm has stopped the train in its tracks. By morning, one passenger has been … murdered! With a killer in their midst, the passengers will rely on Detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer, before he or she strikes again.

Director Alistair Taylor is looking for 10 actors – five male and five female. The characters have an age range of 20 to 65. Auditions will be held at Rivercity Stage, 1080 Hemlock Street, on Saturday, Jan. 27. There will be two sessions – 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you could let us know which session you will be attending, it will help with planning (info@rivercityplayers.ca). No experience necessary!

The play will run May 9 to 12 and 16 to 18. It will also be our entry into the North Island Zone Festival, which will be held in Port Alberni May 19 to 25.
