The River Concert Series has a fun, new twist coming up on June 19.
On Wednesday, the stage will be transformed into a runway for the ReVintaged Fashion Show. The show starts at 7 p.m., and local models will be showcasing sustainability and style with upcycled, repaired and repurposed clothing. Curated by Dawn Mahaney of Revival Vintage, the looks are designed to impress and inspire.
The event is part of the River Concert series, running every week in June, July and August. Provided by the City of Campbell River, the series gives people the chance to experience the varied artistic endeavours that the region has to offer. The River Concert Series runs in the evenings on Wednesdays, and there is also a Lunch in the Square every Tuesday at noon.
