The Tara School of Irish Dancers hits the Tidemark stage with the Campbell River Singers for a Christmas celebration.

Dance for the Joy of Dancing is the philosophy of the Tara School of Irish Dancing and the festive season is the perfect time to express this joy.

The Campbell River Singers are excited to have the dancers as their very special guests for A Christmas Celebration on December 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tidemark Theatre.

Margaret Mullen is the teacher and creative force behind the Tara School of Irish Dancing, and has performed, taught, and travelled extensively throughout North America as an adjudicator of Irish Dance competitions.

The dancers will delight the audience with graceful, flowing soft-shoe reels and jigs and stirring, rhythmic hard-shoe dancing. Irish music and dance have universal appeal, which makes their performance the ideal family outing.  From Ding Dong Merrily on High (Gloria) danced to the music of Celtic Women to Christmas in Killarney danced to the music of the Barra MacNeills, it promises to be a joyous toe-tapping experience.

Join the Campbell River Singers, and the Tara School of Irish Dancing, for a memorable evening that will create that wonderful warm feeling of Christmas to last you all season long.
