Campbell River shoppers get treated to a musical flash mob

Cast of Come Fly With Us provides a taste of upcoming production on unsuspecting patrons


Grocery shoppers, library patrons and theatre goers got a preview of Come Fly With Us, Shoreline Musical Theatre's upcoming production.

A flash mob of cast members broke out into song in the grocery aisles of Save-On Foods and Superstore before heading over to the Campbell River library and then into the lobby of the Tidemark Theatre. The cast provided a rendition of Comedy Tonight from the play A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum for unsuspecting shoppers and patrons. The publicity stunt drew attention to the review of the music of the 1960s which make up Shoreline's production which opens at the Tidemark Theatre and runs to Friday.
