The Campbell River Children’s Choir invites you to begin your holiday season with the sound of singing Saturday, Dec. 7 at the beautiful Marine Heritage Centre. This year the choir will offer two different concerts for the public.

“Shine a Little Light” is a joyful, afternoon concert featuring some lighthearted and toe tapping songs sung by the youngest choir, ECHO, as well as a story or two by some special guests, well-known community actor and director Anne Young. The most advanced choir, Zephyr, will also share some beautiful melodies at this concert. There will be goodies on hand by donation. Tickets for this lively show are $15 and available at the Music Plant (cash or cheque only). Concert time is 3 p.m.

“Dance in the Rain” is the gala evening concert. This concert will feature the youth choir, River and Zephy, the advanced choir. The choirs will be joined by special guests from CR DanceXtreme who will perform with the singers as well as presenting some solo work. The choir is also very excited to sponsor the debut performance of a brand new, adult choir from Courtenay “Rainy Valley Voices”.

This will be a wonderful concert, set in the Maritime Heritage Centre. The choir will have Christmas baking on hand by donation. Tickets for this event are $20 and available at The Music Plant, also by cash or cheque only. Concert time is 7:30 p.m.
