After kicking off with a sold-out show on Feb. 24, the unique Awakeneers Acoustic Matinée series returns to Sybil Andrews Cottage for its third season, with upcoming shows on March 16, April 21, and May 18.
“We’ve had a lot of requests from local fans to put on some more shows in the area,” says Immanuel, one of the band members, “and the Acoustic Matinée was a terrific success in both 2022 and 2023. The coziness of Sybil Andrews Cottage, and the support of the Campbell River Arts Council, have made the events a joy. We get a chance to connect with audience members in a way we rarely get to during larger shows or festival gigs. The first show of the series was completely sold out in advance, so we’ve added one for March, April, and May. All dates are placed on weekend afternoons.”
Tickets for the upcoming shows are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Guests can look forward to complimentary coffee, tea, and fresh baked cookies from Daves’ Bakery in Willow Point.
