Artists working in a wide variety of mediums will share their inspirations with the public creating an exciting cross-section of the arts on the North Island, including painting, carving, pottery, jewelry and so much more.

The concept of the festival is to keep the registration fees low, making it easily affordable for local artists, while offering free public admission to create a spectacular event that will surely entertain and inspire.

The festival is growing and is poised to become a landmark event for the city of Campbell River with the addition this year of a performance stage and a theatrical performance by the Black Crow Theater Company, as well as musicians dispersed throughout the grounds.

The exhibition will be accompanied by the Pink Salmon Festival happening just down the street at the Robert Osler Park which will also have its own array of entertainment and family fun creating a truly unique day in Campbell River.

Since its inception the River City Arts Fest has been gaining momentum and the ultimate goal is to create a festival that will become a cornerstone for arts and entertainment on Vancouver Island.
