Mayor Walter Jakeway (left) presented Rachel Blaney, Executive Director of Immigrant Welcome Centre Campbell River’s Proclamation of March 15 as the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

This Saturday at the downtown Community Centre, Immigrant Welcome Centre hosts the 18th Annual Walk Away From Racism - doors open at 10:30 a.m. and walk starts at noon. Special keynote speaker this year will be former NFL and CFL great Mo Elewonibi.
