Sure, it’s August, but there’s still time for summer camps with the City of Campbell River’s Recreation Department.

For the performer in the family:

  • Creative Movement and Dance Camp is for children three to four years old and explores the world of dance and movement to develop coordination (Aug. 10 to 14).

  • Ballet Camp is for children five to eight years old.

The next step towards classical ballet movements, and a wonderful creative dance experience (Aug. 10 to 14).

  • Tiny Tunes Music Camp is for children one to three and three to five years old, plus an adult.

Your child will play musical instruments, sing favourite songs and move to the beat.

Everyone will have a chance to shake all their sillies out (Aug. 10 to 14).

  • Summer Musical Theatre in the Square is for children five to seven years old.

In partnership with Raincoast Creative Performing Arts Studio, this program will give the kids a chance to sing, act, dance, wear costumes and perform a small program (Aug. 10 to 14).

For the young artist, Jump into Watercolour is for children 10 to 14 years old.

Catherine Holmes will introduce the world of watercolour (Aug. 10 to 14 at Sybil Andrews Cottage).

For the little ones, One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and Little Ocean Explorers are for children three to four and five to seven years old. Both camps run Tuesday to Thursday at Centennial Park and Sybil Andrews Cottage.

For the sport enthusiast, Sportball MultiSport Camp is for children three to five and six to nine years old. Why play one sport when you can try them all? (Aug. 17 to 20)

The 22nd Annual Intersport Challenger Soccer Camp is a high-energy camp with high-performance expectations, with experienced coach John Jepson (Aug. 17 to 21).
